PRT 29 - Southern Essential Tour 4 Days 3 Nights

Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up Tan Son Nhat Airport – Saigon Hotel (D)

We pick you up from Tan Son Nhat Airport and bring you to your hotel, where you plan to spend the night and enjoy dinner at a Local restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City and Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L/D)

In the morning, we pick you up at your hotel and depart for Cu Chi Tunnels, which is located on the northwest of Sai Gon (70km), where you will learn more about the Vietnamese people’s pride and undauntedness in their struggle during the Vietnam War. With the tunnels measuring more than 200 kilometers, this tour takes you back to the past to understand how hard the life was during the wartime.

Also, you have the chance to shoot many kinds of guns (AK-47) in the shooting range (for extra charges).

Afterwards, we have lunch at a local restaurant.

We go back to Ho Chi Minh City. We visit the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica and Saigon Central Post Office. Last, we go back to your hotel to drop you off. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L/D)

In the morning, we pick you up at your hotel and depart for My Tho City, the capital of Tien Giang province. Next, we take a boat and sail to Unicorn Island, one of the four lucky islands. On this island, we can see the daily activities of the local people along the river and enjoy some typical products of the Mekong Delta like tropical candies and fresh fruits.

Hand–rowing sampans take us along a snaky canal (you also have the option to row the boat). After that, we visit a small factory of coconut candies. Then, we get on the horse-drawn carriages and go to the heart of the village. We have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy many local specialties like Tai Tuong fried fish, spring rolls and fresh shrimp.

On the way back to the city, we can visit Vinh Trang Pagoda- one of the most beautiful ancient pagoda in Mekong delta. Back to your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport (B/L/-)

We spend our free time relaxing until our tour guide picks us up and we go to Tan Son Nhat airport. The tour ends here.
